What comes in this package and pretends to be a baked GOOD is not baked good at all. Looking at it from this perspective (the ingredient side of the box) gives you the clarity to see that there is actually nothing good about it at all.
REAL? REALLY? One cannot ascertain how much “real” pumpkin is actually in here as there is no way to tell.
The more you know, the less yummy it looks. I invite you to experiment and to think differently. The next time you bite into one of these store bought muffins, allow yourself to fully experience the taste and feel of the “chemicals” you are ingesting. You can also conjure up the image of lining these ingredients upon your kitchen counter for a baking day with your beloved child.
Okay. I get it. YOU LOVE MUFFINS in the MORNING! So what is a Muffin Maniac to do?
You can have your muffin and eat it too.
YOU CAN MAKE OUR OWN, in under 5 minutes.
Beautiful homemade muffins does not mean difficult, time consuming or impossible for the average cook – it means “muffins made in your home”.
These Cherry Banana Muffins are so easy. You only need one bowl to mix and a few simple ingredients! And if you’ve got your heart set on pumpkin, substitute 1/2 c pure pumpkin in place of the banana. I’ve made them this way and they were moist and delicious too.
These freeze well for weeks so you can have ’em when you crave ’em. (One one more thing. You get to be creative in your packaging and think outside the box or plastic tin. You can make your own parchment cups and tie a velvet purple bow, which adds even more to your experience and the joy you can receive from one little muffin. Here are a few other varieties for your delicious pleasure. Let me know which one is your favorite in the comment below.
